Doesn't always have to be a big complicated meal. Fresh pasta and a jar of sauce is an easy, tasty lunch that most scouts will enjoy. Fresh pasta (instead of dried) will cook on a gas stove in 3 minutes. Drain it, add a little pasta sauce and stir over the heat for another 1 minute until the pasta is coated and the sauce is hot through. One of the fastest substantial meals you can cook outside.
